Your new role:
As a Senior Social Worker within the Headspace In-Reach team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mental health and family intervention services to young people and their families, while contributing to service development and clinical leadership across the program.
Deliver evidence-based social work assessments, therapeutic family interventions and mental health services to young people aged 12-25 years within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Provide specialist clinical expertise and support for complex presentations, using sound clinical judgement and a family-centred, recovery-oriented approach.
Contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives, clinical education and the development of evidence-based practices, policies and programs.
Provide supervision, mentoring and training to junior clinicians, students and support staff while fostering collaborative partnerships with community and health service stakeholders.
About you:
You are an experienced and compassionate Social Worker with a strong background in youth mental health and family interventions, who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced clinical environment.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering social work assessments, family interventions and mental health services for children, adolescents, young people and their families.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and provide clinical advice across multidisciplinary settings.
Proven ability to manage a complex caseload, prioritise competing demands and deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a dynamic environment.
Experience providing clinical supervision, education and support to developing practitioners, together with a commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
