We are seeking a reliable and skilled Vehicle Dismantler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely and efficiently dismantle vehicles for parts, recycling, and resale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely dismantle vehicles according to company procedures and safety standards
- Remove and label quality used parts for inventory
- Drain and dispose of fluids correctly, following environmental guidelines
- Operate tools and equipment such as impact guns, hoists, jacks, compressors, etc.
- Assess parts for damage and usability
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Assist with loading/unloading parts and general yard duties when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in vehicle dismantling, automotive repairs, mechanical work, or wrecking yard operations (preferred but not essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify vehicle components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Valid driver’s licence (forklift ticket is a bonus)
