About the role
The Park Management Planning Officer supports the delivery of management planning activities for Victoria's parks, reserves, and designated local ports and waterways. Reporting to the Park Management Planning Manager, this role contributes to the preparation, review, and maintenance of park management plans, visitor experience frameworks, and precinct plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, legislative requirements, and conservation priorities.
This role ensures planning tools, guidance, and processes are applied consistently and effectively to support high-quality park management outcomes. Working collaboratively with regional teams, Traditional Owners, and other stakeholders, the role contributes to planning initiatives that enhance visitor experiences while protecting natural and cultural values.

We're looking for someone with:

Experience in planning, policy or project support within a government, environmental or public land management context.

Relevant tertiary qualification or substantial work experience in planning, environmental management or a related field.
