The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a five (5) bed paediatric critical care and high dependency care unit, as well as a Paediatric Retrieval Service (Yalurin) which sits within the Women's and Children's Service Group.

Generous remuneration package value up to $96,353 p.a. (NG6-1)
Salary range: $57.48 to $61.55 p.h. (part-time)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity:
The clinical nurse in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides specialised, round-the-clock care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. The clinical nurse monitors, provides support and education on complex medical equipment, administration of medications and treatments, patient assessment, and collaborate closely with the PICU multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
Possession of class C drivers' licence.
Travel is a requirement of this role.
Paediatric Advanced Life Support certificate: Must obtain and maintain an annual competency in Advanced Life Support as per THHSCLI040151 Life Support Training and Assessment
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
Probation period may apply.
