The Role
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded
Assistant Brand Manager - Ready Meals to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing - Ready Meals, this exciting opportunity will allow you to build your brand management career while working across some of Australia's most recognised food brands.
You'll gain broad exposure across brand strategy, innovation, commercial analysis, product development and go-to-market execution, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Category, Supply Chain and Innovation teams. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Support the development and execution of annual brand plans and marketing initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) projects through Stage & Gate processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional project timelines, stakeholder engagement and launch execution.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and P&L management activities.
- Analyse category, consumer and promotional performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Support the development of innovation pipelines and product launch plans.
- Manage agency relationships and coordinate marketing campaigns and activations.
- Develop sales support materials, presentations and customer-facing communications.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and category performance.
- Other ad hoc duties as per directed
About You
You are a proactive and highly organised marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning ideas into action. You will bring:
- A degree qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
- Ideally 2+ years' experience in Brand Marketing, Assistant Brand Management or a similar FMCG marketing role.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
- Experience managing projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Experience with NPD and Stage & Gate processes will be highly regarded.
- FMCG experience is preferred.
