What does the job look like?
Linfox is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to support the day-to-day operation of our Willawong site. Acting as a back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee dock office processes, inventory management, staff training and operational troubleshooting while maintaining a safe, compliant and customer-focused warehouse environment. This role will be permanent role on the afternoon shift (2pm start). Key areas:
Lead daily warehouse operations across receiving, dispatch, inventory control and returns processing
Manage site safety, risk identification and compliance in line with Linfox, customer and regulatory standards
Deliver daily operational planning and execution to meet customer and business requirements
Maintain warehouse hygiene, cleanliness and pallet quality standards
Provide operational reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and DC Manager
Support warehouse teams through leadership, problem solving and day-to-day operational guidance
Are you the one?
We are looking for an experienced warehouse leader with a strong background in warehouse operations, customer service and team supervision. You will be safety-focused, hands-on and confident managing operational priorities in a fast-paced environment. You can demonstrate:
3+ years' experience in a Warehouse Team Leader or Leading Hand role
Current LF lic with experience in both counter balance and high reach
Experience supervising staff and delegating operational responsibilities
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, including SAP
Strong understanding of warehouse and transport processes and procedures
Experience working directly with customers and maintaining stakeholder relationships
