Masterol Foods is an Australian-owned supplier and manufacturer of specialised food ingredients, processing aids and edible oils, servicing customers across the food manufacturing industry. Our Newcastle operation combines manufacturing, packing and warehousing, supplying products to customers throughout Australia.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Casual General Cleaner to join our food manufacturing team.
The role is expected to provide approximately 20 hours or more per week, with a regular/fixed roster where possible. For the right candidate, there is also potential for a long-term opportunity to move into a full-time factory role.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of factory and production areas
- Cleaning and sanitising food manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Cleaning floors, walls, work areas and amenities
- Following cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Identifying and reporting cleaning, hygiene or maintenance concerns
- Assisting with other general factory duties when required

- Willingness to follow cleaning and food safety procedures
- Comfortable cleaning machinery and working in a factory environment

- Physically capable of performing general cleaning duties
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, food manufacturing or factory environments is an advantage, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
