A Finance Executive manages financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and business performance analysis within a company or government organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor cash flow and company expenses
- Conduct financial analysis and performance reviews
- Support audits and compliance activities
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with payroll and taxation reporting
- Maintain accounting systems and financial records
- Provide recommendations to senior management
- Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations
Skills & Qualifications
Most employers prefer:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- CPA or CA qualification (preferred for senior roles)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Knowledge of Australian tax and finance regulations
