SPS Facilities is seeking reliable and motivated Commercial Cleaners to join our team in Cairns, QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable, permanent part-time work within a supportive company that values its people and the environments we maintain. You’ll be working onsite as part of a collaborative team of six employees, ensuring the facility is maintained to the highest standards.
The Role
- Location: Cairns, QLD
- Type: Permanent Part-Time
- Roster: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 6:00pm – 9:25pm (16.25 hours per week)
- Vacancies: 2
- Team Environment: Work alongside a team of 6 staff onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining the main building
- Servicing judges’ chambers, courtrooms, waiting areas, kitchens, restrooms, showers, and offices
- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Restocking consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, etc.)
- Safe operation of cleaning equipment and products
- Adhering to cleaning schedules and workplace safety procedures
- Successfully passing client vetting prior to commencement

About You
- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Clear communication skills
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transport and commitment to safety standards
