An opportunity has become available for a Team Leader (Rehabilitation Response Team) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Apply advanced level decision making and expert clinical judgement to contribute to determining patients' rehabilitation trajectory
Manage day-to-day operational leadership of nursing, allied health, and clinical assistant staff
Lead the of collection of high-quality health information relating to community rehabilitation service delivery
Lead change management processes when required within Rehabilitation Response Team
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Driver Licence
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Rehabilitation Response Team
The Rehabilitation Response Team service provides several functions:
Management of the central rehabilitation referral hub
Referral management, consultation, and liaison for GCHHS inpatients referred for inreach and inpatient rehabilitation
Management bed allocation and coordination of admissions to GCHHS inpatient rehabilitation units for patients referred from internal and external service providers
The multidisciplinary inreach rehabilitation service within GCHHS hospital facilities
The Spinal Cord Injury Liaison Service (SCILS)
