About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Workflow Orchestration & Fullstack AI Engineer to join an exciting AI-focused project in Sydney.
This is an opportunity for a senior hands-on engineer to work across AI, workflow orchestration, modern frontend development and cloud technologies, building scalable solutions that integrate AI models with enterprise applications and automated workflows.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Temporal, OpenAI AI models, React JS, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD, with the ability to work across both backend and frontend technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal.
- Build workflow services using Python, Java, Go, or .NET.
- Integrate and develop solutions using OpenAI AI models and Generative AI technologies.
- Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using React JS.
- Build and integrate APIs and backend services supporting AI-powered applications.
- Deploy and manage applications using AWS and Docker.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, product teams and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow modern engineering practices around testing, security, scalability and maintainability.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of overall IT/software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Temporal / Temporal.io for workflow orchestration.
- Strong programming experience in at least one of:
- Python
- Java
- Go / Golang
- .NET / C#
- Experience working with OpenAI AI models / Generative AI.
- Strong React JS development experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong experience with Docker and containerised applications.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs and distributed systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Pay: $650,000.00 – $700,000.00 per day
