The role
The key focus of this role is to set standards and provide authoritative expertise for UniSuper’s enterprise integration platform within a cloud‑first environment. You will define, govern and improve how integrations are designed, built and operated to support reliable, high‑availability outcomes.
- Set standards for enterprise integration platforms operating at scale
- Define and govern API design and management practices across the lifecycle
- Shape event‑driven integration and messaging approaches
- Influence cloud integration architecture, networking and security patterns
- Improve CI/CD practices for integration artefacts, including automated testing
Govern operational practices covering monitoring, alerting and root cause analysis

About you
You are a technical leader who stays close to the detail while shaping standards that others rely on. You apply sound judgement in complex environments and influence outcomes through expertise, clarity and accountability.
- Proven experience setting standards for enterprise integration platforms (iPaaS)
- Strong expertise in API design, authentication and lifecycle management
- Experience with event‑driven integration and messaging concepts
- Solid understanding of cloud integration architectures, security and connectivity
- Demonstrated experience running highly available production platforms
