General Field Crew / Event Crew – Business Events

Moreton Hire, proudly recognised as the Industry Team of the Year 2025, is expanding its Melbourne operations team. We’re looking for motivated and reliable Event Crew to support the delivery of exhibitions, conferences, and major business events across Melbourne and occasionally interstate.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and dismantle event infrastructure including exhibition stands, staging, furniture, flooring and temporary structures.
- Assist with warehouse operations such as pre‑builds, equipment preparation, loading/unloading and stock movement.
- Build outdoor marquees and other temporary installations.
- Operate forklifts and plant equipment
- Drive company vehicles to transport event equipment
- Perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a team environment.
- Support Supervisors and Project Managers to deliver events to schedule and specification.
- Contribute positively to a safe, professional and collaborative team culture.
About You
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast‑paced, physical role.
- Strong awareness of OH&S and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Able to work early mornings, late finishes and weekends when required.
- Experience in events, warehouse operations, logistics or construction is an advantage.
- Forklift (LF), truck or HR licences are desirable but not essential.
- Willing to undergo police checks and drug/alcohol testing.
