As part of our growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and contribute to our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for a range of business clients.
- Analyse financial information and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting and cash flow analysis.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, GST and other tax obligations in accordance with ATO requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts.
- Ensure financial records and reports comply with Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards.
- Liaise with clients, the ATO and external advisers regarding accounting and taxation matters.
- Manage and oversee payroll processes for clients, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, superannuation and employee entitlements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
