Are you an Exercise Physiologist who believes movement should be accessible, personalised, and empowering?
At Listen To Your Body (LTYB) Southern River, we're looking to build a collaborative relationship with an Exercise Physiologist who shares our passion for helping everyday people improve their health, strength, confidence, and quality of life.
Rather than operating as a traditional gym, LTYB specialises in Small Group Personalised Training, providing individualised programs within a supportive and welcoming environment. Our members range from those completely new to exercise through to active older adults wanting to maintain their independence and wellbeing. We currently have members 12 - 80yrs.
We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist to work alongside our team to support members who may benefit from additional clinical exercise guidance, including those managing:
-
Chronic health conditions
-
Diabetes
-
Cardiovascular disease
-
Arthritis and joint concerns
-
Osteoporosis
-
Balance and falls prevention
-
Post-rehabilitation exercise
-
Weight management
-
General health and wellbeing goals
We are open to discussing a model that works for both parties, including:
-
Referrals between LTYB and your practice
-
Conducting assessments and consultations onsite
-
Supporting members transitioning from rehabilitation to ongoing exercise
-
Program reviews and exercise recommendations
-
Educational workshops and member presentations
-
Collaborative care with allied health professionals and medical practitioners
-
Use of gym floor and equipment.
Our members value:
✔ Personalised exercise programs
✔ Supportive, non-intimidating environment
✔ No mirrors and no "gym culture" pressure
✔ Strong accountability and community connection
✔ Flexible membership options
✔ Focus on long-term health, not quick fixes.
We believe Exercise Physiologists play an important role in helping people bridge the gap between healthcare and sustainable exercise habits, and we'd love to explore how we can work together to achieve better outcomes for our community.
We're looking for someone who:
-
Holds current accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist
-
Is passionate about preventative health and healthy ageing
-
Enjoys working collaboratively with fitness professionals
-
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-
Shares a client-centred approach to care
-
Is interested in making a genuine impact within the local community.
If you'd like to explore a collaborative partnership with LTYB Southern River, we'd love to have a conversation about how we can support each other's clients and create better health outcomes together. Call 0436 352 218.
Let's work together to help our community move better, feel better, and live better.
