We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mill Operator to join a leading steel manufacturing operation based in O’Sullivan Beach. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering stable, ongoing work and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities
Shift Pattern:
Week 1: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:15am to 3:15pm
Week 2: Afternoon Shift – Monday to Thursday, 2:45pm to 11:45pm
- Operate and monitor mill machinery and production equipment
- Feed materials through the production line and adjust settings as required
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify and resolve minor mechanical or process issues to minimise downtime
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture

Your Profile
- Proven experience in steel, metal, or heavy manufacturing environments
- Previous experience operating industrial machinery or production equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic issues
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Committed to workplace safety and following procedures
- Reliable with strong attendance and a solid work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift licence (LF) – highly regarded
