What you'll be doing
Provide and co–ordinate appropriate Speech Pathology therapy services for community clients as referred to the Transitional Aged Care services in a manner consistent with professional code of ethics and current Mid North Coast local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You present yourself as a thoughtful, skilled clinician with a strong grounding in contemporary speech pathology practice. With a tertiary degree in Speech Pathology recognised by Speech Pathology Australia—and eligibility for membership—you demonstrate a commitment to professional standards and evidence‑based care.
You highlight well‑developed theoretical and clinical experience in assessing and treating adult speech, swallowing and language disorders, showing confidence in managing complex presentations. Your practice is shaped by a deep understanding of the needs of older adults recovering from diverse medical and surgical conditions in the community, supported by strong knowledge of the services and organisations that assist clients and carers.
Your profile reflects a clear commitment to ongoing professional development, maintaining current practice standards and contributing to the education of others. High‑level verbal, written and IT communication skills allow you to build positive, collaborative relationships with clients, carers, colleagues and service providers.
