Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Chief Financial Officer is a key executive leadership role responsible for driving Council's long-term financial sustainability, corporate governance, strategic financial planning, budgeting, statutory reporting, investment management, and organisational performance. Leading a skilled finance team, you will provide trusted advice to Council and the Executive, influencing decisions that shape the future of the Uralla community.

You are an experienced and values-driven finance executive with strong expertise in strategic financial planning, governance, accounting, and leadership. You bring exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, a proven ability to lead high-performing teams, and the commercial acumen to deliver sustainable outcomes. CPA, CA, MBA or similar professional qualifications, together with local government experience, will be highly regarded.
