About the Role
BMD Constructions, together with Abergeldie and KBR (as ABK Joint Venture), have secured South East Water (SEW) Integrated Planning and Delivery (IPD) capital works program as part of a milestone 10-year contract.
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our dedicated ABKJV SEW projects team. You will lead the commercial function across a portfolio of projects, ensuring strong financial governance, contractual compliance, and commercial performance.
This is a fulltime permanent position, head office located in Dingley Village, VIC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading all commercial and contractual aspects of the program
- Managing head contract and subcontractor relationships
- Overseeing cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks and opportunities
- Supporting procurement strategies and contract negotiations
- Providing strategic commercial advice to project leadership
About You
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager / Senior Contracts Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments
- Excellent financial acumen and analytical capability
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
