We have a strong and growing pipeline of scheduled projects and are looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our installation team.
The Role
Full-time installation role based from our Carrum Downs showroom, with work carried out in residential homes across the Mornington Peninsula.
The role involves replacing kitchen doors, panels, and benchtops, as well as completing full kitchen installations and custom joinery when required. You will be delivering high-quality finishes in clean, occupied residential environments, so attention to detail and pride in workmanship are essential.
As you will be working directly in customers’ homes, professional presentation, clear communication, punctuality, and strong customer service skills are highly important.
You will have a consistent pipeline of organised installations, clear schedules, and full support from our office team. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, with early finishes on Fridays typical once installations are completed to our standard and on time. There is no overtime required.
You will be provided with:

- All jobs pre-planned and organised for you with detailed information online for install
Our installers are trusted to manage their workflow independently and are rewarded with early finishes for efficient, high-quality work. Performance bonuses may be offered for individuals who provide high quality installs and high customer satisfaction. There is opportunity for growth within the business into project management if desired and if suitable.
Typical Responsibilities
- Removal of existing kitchens and installation of new kitchen doors, panels, benchtops, splash-backs, and hardware as specified
- Installation of full kitchens and custom cabinetry to specification
- Delivering a consistently high standard of finish and workmanship
- Reading and following plans and scope of works accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organised worksite to ensure efficient, professional installations
- Removing rubbish and keeping the site tidy throughout and after installation
- Maintaining a professional, respectful presence in clients’ homes, with customer satisfaction as our highest priority
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Qualified Cabinet Maker with strong experience installing kitchens and cabinetry
- Proven experience installing kitchens and joinery to a high standard
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to accurately read and follow plans and scope of works
- Comfortable using a phone and online apps to view jobs, schedules, and take photos of completed works
- Professional, reliable, and respectful with customers at all times
- Current driver’s license
This role suits a skilled installer who takes ownership of their work and consistently delivers a high standard of finish whilst being friendly to customers
Salary & Benefits
- $40-$55 per hour (depending on experience)
