Salary Range: $133,348 - 146,945 + super
Employment Type: Ongoing, Full-Time
Location: Based in Sydney (McKell Office) with occasional travel to Gosford and Parramatta. We support flexible and hybrid working and will partner with you to find what works best.

We’re looking for a collaborative and curious Senior Advisor – Strategic Engagement to join our team. In this role, you’ll help shape and deliver people and culture initiatives that make a real difference—working closely with leaders and teams across the organisation.

People Innovation & Experience (PIE) partners with the business to deliver modern, impactful people practices. We focus on strong leadership, inclusive culture, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
The Strategic Engagement team is the “front door” into PIE—working as trusted advisors to understand business needs, co-design solutions, and deliver practical, high-impact outcomes that improve organisational effectiveness and employee experience.

What you’ll do
You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to shape and deliver strategic people initiatives, including:

Diagnosing organisational needs using data and stakeholder insight
-
Designing and delivering engagement and organisational development initiatives
-
Supporting change and transformation across culture, capability, and operating models
-
Providing trusted, evidence-based advice and coaching
-
Facilitating workshops and co-design sessions to define priorities and solutions
-
Using data to measure impact and drive continuous improvement
-
Building strong partnerships to align stakeholders and deliver outcomes
About you
You combine curiosity and strategic thinking with a genuine commitment to people outcomes. You’re collaborative, insightful, and able to turn ideas into practical solutions.
You bring:

Experience in organisational development in legislative and complex environments in senior People & Culture roles

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
-
Experience in change, organisational improvements or culture initiatives

The ability to use data to inform decisions and track impact
-
Experience with talent, performance, or leadership frameworks (essential)

Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
-
Strong agile project or program management capability
-
A passion for building inclusive, high-performing, healthy and suitable organisations
Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, organisational development, employee experience, or equivalent experience.
