About the Role
HPS is seeking a motivated and reliable Corrections Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HPS Coburg.
This full-time position supports pharmacy services delivered to correctional centres across Victoria. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will play an important role in ensuring the safe and efficient supply of medications to correctional health services while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and inventory control.
This is a great opportunity for a pharmacy technician looking to broaden their experience within a unique and rewarding healthcare environment. This role is non-patient facing as it encompasses medication supply from Coburg.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense and prepare medications accurately and efficiently
Manage stock, imprest and inventory replenishment activities
Support medication distribution and supply to correctional health sites
Conduct stocktakes and maintain accurate pharmacy records
Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and workflow management
Work collaboratively with pharmacists and healthcare stakeholders
About You
Previous pharmacy technician or pharmacy assistant experience desirable
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to accuracy, quality and patient safety
Positive, reliable and proactive approach to work
