We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in medical reception and learn all facets of the business including specialist medical reception duties, medical billing and accounts.
The Practice
Specialist Cardiology is a well-known, leading private cardiology practice with our main location on the campus of Sydney Adventist Hospital, Wahroonga. We have a team of 10 cardiologists as well as medical receptionists, nurses, technicians and support staff. We provide the full range of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures to our patients. We are a growing team and are looking for someone to grow with us!
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet patients
- Medical reception duties including invoicing, receipting, taking payments and processing Medicare online
- Scheduling appointments, booking procedures and hospital admissions
- Answering telephone enquiries including directing calls to appropriate staff members
- Supporting clinical staff by assisting with administrative tasks

Medical reception background and a knowledge of Genie practice software is desirable, however not essential. If you don't meet all the criteria but feel you would be a good fit for our team; please apply! We are looking for someone to fit into our team who brings diverse experience and is willing to learn.
Hours will be 56 per fortnight, with 3 days one week and 4 days the next. Days of work are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and alternate Fridays.
