Head of Brand & Innovation

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll own the strategic direction, growth, and long-term equity of our brand portfolio across practitioner and complementary healthcare markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll sit at the intersection of brand strategy, innovation, commercial performance, and customer insight, leading the development of new growth opportunities, strengthening existing brands, and building the future pipeline of products and solutions.
You’ll lead a high-performing team across Brand, Innovation, and Marketing Services while partnering closely with Sales, Scientific & Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, and external agency partners to deliver commercially successful and scientifically credible brand experiences.
- Define and lead the organisation’s brand and portfolio strategy across practitioner, HCP, and consumer segments.

Build and execute multi-year brand roadmaps that drive growth, market expansion, and long-term brand equity.

Lead innovation and new product development, from identifying white space opportunities through to successful in-market launch.

Drive commercially disciplined portfolio performance with accountability across Net Sales, Portfolio GM%, A&P investment, and Brand Contribution.

Translate market, practitioner, and consumer insights into actionable growth opportunities and differentiated brand positioning.

Develop integrated go-to-market strategies across practitioner, digital, retail, PR, content, events, and emerging channels.

Lead agency and partner relationships to deliver high-quality, insight-led campaigns and communications.

Champion a performance and data-led marketing culture, using analytics and ROI measures to optimise investment decisions.

Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate innovation, execution quality, and commercial outcomes.

Build, coach, and develop a high-performing Brand & Innovation team focused on accountability, creativity, and customer-centric thinking.
- 12+ years’ experience in brand leadership, marketing strategy, innovation, or commercial leadership roles within healthcare, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, consumer health, or premium FMCG.

Proven success managing brand or portfolio P&L performance, including revenue, margin, and marketing investment accountability.

Demonstrated experience leading successful innovation and new product development from concept through to launch.

Strong strategic capability balanced with hands-on commercial execution and delivery.

Experience building brand strategies across both practitioner/HCP and consumer channels.

Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate insights into commercially actionable strategies.

Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in fast-paced or growth-stage environments.

Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Science, or related disciplines. MBA or postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
- Experience within practitioner healthcare, complementary medicines, or evidence-led healthcare brands.

Exposure to regulated healthcare marketing environments, including TGA or equivalent frameworks.

Experience launching new brands, entering new markets, or scaling emerging portfolios.

Strong understanding of stage-gate innovation and portfolio management processes.
