Job description
Your role will include:-
- Service and maintenance of farm machinery.
Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve better running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations, repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, perform repair work required to achieve roadworthiness
- Conduct major repairs on engines and transmission.
-Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, adjusting brakes
- Diagnosing and assessing faults
- testing and adjusting mechanical parts before and after being repaired
- Mobile servicing and onsite repairs and maintenance

Required:
· Trade Certificate - Diesel Mechanic
· A Minimum of 10 years work experience as a diesel mechanic with tractors, trucks and agricultural plant equipment;
· Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills including electrical
· Ability to delegate tasks and manage a workshop
· Reliable, self-motivated and attention to detail
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· A strong work ethic, commitment to safety and a can-do-attitude
· Ability to work in a small team
· Current Driver’s license
· You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to OH&S principles
