As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officer, you'll help people feel supported, respected and understood during important moments in their healthcare journey. Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
A relevant Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification in health, community services or a related field.
Strong relationship-building, communication and advocacy skills.
The ability to work collaboratively while balancing the needs of patients, families and care teams.
A current C class driver's licence and a commitment to safe, high-quality service delivery.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working in healthcare, community or culturally focused support services, and established community connections.
Above all, you'll bring Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage to everything you do, helping create healthier communities and better experiences for the people who need them most.
