About the Opportunity
Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 (Hepatitis C) to join our Harm Reduction and Prevention (HARP) team.
In this senior leadership role, you will provide expert, evidence-based Hepatitis C care across community, primary health and outreach settings while leading service development, clinical education, research and quality improvement. Working across the five CNC domains, you will influence clinical practice, build workforce capability, strengthen partnerships and improve access to care for vulnerable and priority populations. This is an opportunity to shape Hepatitis C services across the Murrumbidgee and contribute to the NSW goal of eliminating Hepatitis C.
About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with at least five years post-registration experience, including three years in a relevant specialty.

Relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in hepatitis, blood-borne viruses, sexual health, public health or a related specialty.

Advanced clinical expertise with the ability to provide autonomous, evidence-based and person-centred care.

Proven leadership in clinical practice, workforce development, education, service improvement and change management.

Experience using research, quality improvement and evidence to influence practice and improve patient outcomes.

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to build partnerships across multidisciplinary teams and community organisations.

Current Class C Driver Licence and willingness to travel across the Murrumbidgee region.
