As Store Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a high-performing leadership team, creating an environment where exceptional customer experiences, commercial success and team development go hand in hand. You'll foster a culture of connection, accountability and excellence, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the David Jones service philosophy.
Working closely with brand and concession partners, you'll leverage your commercial expertise and leadership capability to drive results, influence outcomes and identify opportunities for growth. As the leader of our Woden store, you'll inspire your team through your passion for retail, customer-first mindset and ability to deliver strong commercial performance.
What YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE
- Lead, inspire and develop a diverse team of retail professionals to deliver experiences that inspire Like No Other.
- Drive sales, profit and NPS outcomes, ensuring commercial objectives are consistently achieved and exceeded.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with brand and concession partners to maximise business performance.
- Place the customer at the centre of every decision, embedding our service philosophy throughout the store.
- Champion a culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement across your team.
- Represent David Jones within the Canberra retail community as a proud custodian of our iconic brand.
What YOU'LL NEED TO THRIVE
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- A passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and empowering others to do the same.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups.
- A track record of delivering outstanding commercial results, including sales growth and customer experience metrics.
- Agility and resilience, with the ability to adapt to evolving customer, market and business needs.
- Strong commercial acumen and a growth mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive positive outcomes.
