First Aid Trainer — The Australian Academy of Media (RTO 45017)
The Australian Academy of Media (RTO 45017) is a registered training organisation delivering quality vocational education across NSW, ACT, and Tasmania. We are seeking a qualified and passionate First Aid Trainer to join our team.
About the role
- Deliver first aid training to students across a range of qualification programs
- Facilitate engaging, practical, and compliant training sessions
- Assess student competency against unit requirements
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records in line with ASQA standards
- Support a positive and safe learning environment for all students
Required qualifications
All three of the following must be current and valid:
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
You will also need
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), or equivalent
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check (within 3 years)
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to work with diverse student cohorts including young people and community members
