What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Suite, you will provide evidence-based, person-centred perioperative care that promotes positive patient outcomes throughout the surgical journey. This role requires demonstrated experience working as an Instrument/Circulating Nurse. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will apply your clinical expertise, sound judgement and commitment to patient safety in a dynamic theatre environment.
- Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assess, monitor and respond to changing patient needs while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Delegate and supervise Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and students within their scope of practice.
- Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and coordinating referrals where required.
- Manage clinical resources efficiently while maintaining professional standards, cultural respect and evidence-based practice.

Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
