We're looking for an energetic and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our fast-paced restaurant. If you thrive under pressure, enjoy working with fresh ingredients, and take pride in producing high-quality food, we'd love to hear from you.
Our kitchen is busy from open to close, serving fresh salads, bowls, burritos and other made-to-order meals. We're looking for someone who can keep up with the pace while maintaining excellent food quality and safety standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing fresh ingredients, including vegetables, proteins and house-made components
- Assembling salads, bowls and burritos to recipe specifications
- Maintaining high food presentation and portion control standards
- Following food safety and safe food handling procedures
- Stocking and rotating ingredients using FIFO principles
- Keeping workstations clean, organised and service-ready
- Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries
- Supporting the team during busy lunch and dinner services
- Completing opening, closing and general kitchen duties
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Ability to work well within a close-knit team
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends as required
