About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to support the Radiographer Operations Manager in leading the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service Medical (STARS) Medical Imaging service through high-level clinical expertise, operational management, and strategic leadership. This role combines hands-on clinical practice with team leadership, focusing on service expansion, quality improvement, workforce development, and the delivery of efficient, patient-centred imaging services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver specialised medical imaging operational, clinical and consultancy services to radiographers within the STARS Medical Imaging department.
Contribute to the day-to-day management of the STARS Medical Imaging team, including responsibility for management of conflict resolution, performance appraisal and staff development.
Lead high performance and teamwork in all aspects of the STARS Medical Imaging service, including facilitating training and education of all staff and stakeholders, and all quality and safety requirements.
