Travel Requirement
Support workers will be required to travel across a broad service area covering Melbourne Central Eastern. This includes (but is not limited to): Templestowe, Doncaster East, Doncaster Heights, Donvale, North Warrandyte, Warrandyte, Park Orchards, Wonga Park, Chirnside Park, Blackburn, Blackburn North, Laburnum, Blackburn South, Brentford Square, Forest Hill, Nunawading, Mitcham, Mitcham North, Rangeview, Vermont, Vermont South, Warranwood, Ringwood, Heathwood, Ringwood North, Warrandyte South, Bedford Road, Heathmont, Ringwood East, Croydon Hills, Croydon North, Croydon South, Croydon, Mooroolbark, Knox City, Centre, Studfield, Wantirna South, and Wantirna.
Applicants should be comfortable travelling between these locations, with services delivered in clients’ homes across these communities. A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are highly desirable to support flexible, responsive service delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Provide personalised care and assistance tailored to the unique needs of each Service User.
Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, community access, including transport, Home Help, and assistance with shopping.
Domestic Assistance, including vacuuming, mopping and dusting
Foster a warm and trusting environment that promotes independence and dignity.
**What you bring**
- Certificate III Home and Community Care or equivalent (minimum)
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and compassion for individuals with varying needs.
- Trustworthy and reliable with a vehicle
- Flexibility

- NDIS Worker Screen - Working with Children's check - Current First Aid Certificate and CPR - Driver's licence and a reliable car - Mobile phone
