Join a growing Australian gifting and e-commerce group
Giftd Collective is home to a growing portfolio of gifting and celebration brands, including Gourmet Basket, The Cupcake Factory and Daily Dough Co.
From premium gift hampers and corporate gifting to branded cupcakes, cakes, cookies and doughnuts, we help businesses create memorable gifts and experiences for their employees, clients and customers.
We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded and highly organised Corporate Sales Assistant to manage corporate enquiries and build strong relationships with customers across our brands.
This is a hands-on sales and account coordination role. You'll manage opportunities from the initial enquiry through to successful delivery, developing tailored solutions, preparing quotes, following up opportunities and helping grow our corporate customer base.
About the role
As Corporate Sales Assistant, you'll be a key point of contact for both new and existing corporate customers.
You'll take the time to understand what each customer is trying to achieve and recommend the right solution from across our product range. One day you might be helping a business organise hundreds of branded cupcakes for an event, and the next coordinating a large gifting campaign for employees or clients.
Importantly, this isn't simply an order-processing role. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, following up opportunities and converting enquiries into sales.
What you'll be doing
- Manage inbound corporate sales enquiries via phone, email and website
- Build strong relationships with new and existing corporate customers
- Understand customer requirements, budgets and timelines and recommend suitable solutions
- Prepare quotes, proposals and tailored corporate gifting solutions
- Follow up enquiries and outstanding quotes to convert opportunities into confirmed orders
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell products across the Giftd Collective portfolio
- Proactively contact previous customers ahead of key gifting, celebration and event periods
- Re-engage corporate customers who haven't ordered with us recently
- Assist with outbound sales and marketing campaigns
- Manage corporate orders from initial enquiry through to successful delivery
- Prepare invoices and coordinate customer payments
- Accurately capture branding, logos, gift messages, delivery information and other order requirements
- Prepare clear order documentation for our production and operations teams
- Coordinate with our kitchen, warehouse and operations teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Monitor important corporate deliveries and assist with resolving issues when they arise
- Follow up significant orders to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Maintain accurate customer, sales and follow-up records
- Work towards agreed corporate sales and customer service KPIs
About you
We're looking for someone who is confident speaking with corporate customers and genuinely enjoys finding solutions and building relationships.
You'll ideally have:
- 2 to 3+ years' experience in corporate sales, account coordination, customer service or a similar client-facing role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills
- A natural ability to understand a customer's needs and translate them into the right solution
- A proactive approach to following up sales opportunities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to manage multiple enquiries, quotes and orders simultaneously
- A solutions-focused approach and willingness to take ownership
- Commercial awareness and confidence working towards sales targets
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Experience using CRM, e-commerce, email and other cloud-based platforms
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Previous experience within e-commerce, corporate gifting, food, events or hospitality would be highly regarded.
What success looks like
You'll take ownership of your corporate customers rather than simply processing their orders.
You'll build an understanding of their businesses, follow up opportunities consistently, anticipate upcoming requirements and identify ways our different brands can help them throughout the year.
You'll also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our major seasonal and corporate gifting periods can become extremely busy, so being able to manage a high volume of enquiries without sacrificing accuracy or customer service is essential.
Some additional hours may be required during major seasonal periods, particularly in the lead-up to Christmas.
Why join Giftd Collective?
- Join a growing Australian e-commerce and gifting business
- Work across multiple established gifting and celebration brands
- Build relationships with businesses ranging from SMEs to major corporate customers
- Play an important role in growing our corporate sales channel
- Friendly, collaborative and down-to-earth team
- Staff discounts across our gifting and baked goods brands
- Convenient Artarmon location close to public transport
- Some onsite parking available
- And, naturally, plenty of cakes, cupcakes, doughnuts and gourmet treats around the office
If you're commercially minded, highly organised and love building relationships with customers, we'd love to hear from you.
