Qualified Carpenter
We are seeking two skilled Carpenters to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson to work on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects.
About the Role
The position will require you to be skilled in wall framing, James Hardie claddings and second fix, initially. An advantage will be having a high work permit and an EWP ticket, for our commercial projects and knowledge of plasterboard fixing an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wall framing and wall cladding materials accurately.
- Install door frames, flooring, and other carpentry components.
- Carry out maintenance and repair work as required.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and professional worksite.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent recognised trade qualification).
- Qualified Carpenter.
- Current White Card.
- Current driver's licence.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team.
Desirable
- Experience in residential and commercial construction.
- Plasterboard fixing
