Florist Apprenticeship – Floral Affairs
Floral Affairs is looking for a passionate and reliable Florist Apprentice to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who already has at least 1 year of experience in floristry and is keen to continue developing their skills in a busy, creative flower shop.
About the Role
You will work alongside our experienced florists and be involved in all areas of the business, including:
- Creating beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements
- Preparing flowers and conditioning fresh stock
- Creating vase arrangements and boxed arrangements
- Wedding and event floristry
- Funeral and sympathy arrangements
- Wrapping and presenting bouquets to a high standard
- Assisting with flower deliveries and orders
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Helping with opening and closing the shop
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Learning new floral designs and techniques
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of floristry experience
- Genuine passion for flowers and floral design
- Creative eye and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- A positive attitude and professional presentation
