The Club Hotel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, events, leadership, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
About the Role
We are a busy venue that includes a Bar & Bistro as well as a strong Bottleshop, busy accommodation and gaming room.
This role requires you to lead a close knit team who are dedicated to making every customer experience remarkable. You will be required to ensure all staff complete their duties and responsibilities.
The right candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and hold a current RSA and RSG and is willing to obtain their RMLV and approved manager’s licence.
The candidate must have a passion for the hospitality industry.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Venue Manager, Duty Managers & Owner to ensure the operations of the pub are effective.
- Manage a team and work across departments confidently.
- Support and motivate casual staff and assist with staff training and development.
- Build strong relationships with all employees and customers.
- Provide excellent service to patrons across all departments.
- Complete all end of day duties
- Overseeing the off-premises and on-Premise and retail side of the business.
- Manage patron enquiries.
- Overseeing functions and gaming & liquor compliance.
- Various administrative duties
- Updating the POS system

Hours of work will vary including morning, night and weekend shifts.
