The Department is seeking a Technical Specialist to join a team supporting our Identity Operations team, overseeing everything from staff provisioning and governance to risk management and overall system health
You will help deliver complex, scalable technology solutions that meet business needs, while ensuring all support activities follow unit processes, industry best practice, and Departmental requirements.
In this role, you will provide technical specialist support for complex, scalable technology solutions in line with unit processes, industry best practice, and Departmental requirements. You will produce accurate, timely performance reporting for the Lead Technical Specialist, the Manager, IDM Support, and senior management, ensuring all documentation is compliant, recorded, and maintained according to Departmental protocols.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, you will identify, define, and recommend technology solutions while delivering technical guidance to investigate, diagnose, and resolve service issues, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to support consistent, high-quality delivery in a complex and diverse environment.

Essential requirements of the role
- Industry certification in relevant technologies or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
