We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead our team and oversee the successful operation of our aquarium and pet retail store. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.
- Manage day-to-day store operations including inventory management, merchandising, cash handling and store administration.
- Drive sales performance by monitoring targets, analysing results and implementing strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, product displays and visual merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and relevant regulations relating to the sale, handling and welfare of aquarium fish, reptiles and companion animals.
- Recruit, train, supervise and develop team members to maintain a high-performing workplace culture.
- Implement promotional activities and retail strategies to increase customer engagement and sales.
- Analyse customer buying trends and sales performance to identify opportunities for improving product range and business growth.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock turnover, purchasing patterns and conduct regular stock takes to optimise stock availability.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate purchasing arrangements and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Resolve operational issues and implement improvements to enhance store efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $130,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
