Our local family fruit and vegetable shop is looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Shop Assistant. The role is mainly focused on serving customers at the register and maintaining product quality.
You will be working in a family environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Operating the POS register and processing customer payments
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Checking expiry dates and product freshness
- Removing or reporting products that are not up to standard
- Keeping the counter and shop area clean and organised
Requirements
- Previous customer service or cashier experience is a must.
- Friendly attitude and good communication skills
- Attention to detail when checking product quality
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Details
- Mainly Morning Shifts (7am - 1.30pm)
- At least 3 days a week
