Partnering with senior client leaders and cross-functional teams, you’ll connect strategy through to execution - elevating the quality of output and ensuring ideas translate into real-world impact.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Lead the development of insight-driven, integrated media and communications strategies across key client accounts

Elevate the quality of strategic output across briefs, annual plans, thought leadership and award submissions

Embed Starcom’s Focus Framework into planning approaches to define growth ambition, audiences and channels

Partner with senior clients and internal stakeholders to shape strategy, challenge thinking and unlock new growth opportunities

Lead workshops, brainstorms and presentations that bring strategic thinking to life in clear, compelling ways

Support teams on responses to briefs and represent Starcom’s strategic capability in key client moments

Apply behavioural science, marketing science and analytics to inform strategy and measurement frameworks

Champion the use of data, research tools and advanced analytics to drive actionable insights and results

Stay ahead of evolving consumer behaviour, media trends and emerging technologies

Contribute to thought leadership, strategic narratives and industry-facing content

Support new business pitches, bringing bold thinking and clear strategic direction

Work collaboratively across planning, activation, data and broader Publicis Groupe teams to deliver integrated solutions

What will set you up for success?

7+ years of experience leading media strategy across complex client portfolios

Excellent understanding of the Australian media landscape and how to leverage it for growth

Strong expertise in developing integrated, insight-led communications strategies

Advanced understanding of marketing science, behavioural economics and their application in planning

Ability to apply data and analytics to inform strategy and build effective measurement frameworks

Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills - bringing complex ideas to life in a clear, engaging way
-
Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and presenting strategic vision internally and externally
Nice-to-Have Experience & Skills

Experience using tools such as GWI, Nielsen, AQX/AdIntel or WARC
-
Exposure to new business pitching and developing strategic responses

Experience building or evolving frameworks, tools or strategic products

Familiarity with attribution models and advanced measurement approaches

Experience working across high-profile or global brands
