About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Compliance Officer to join our Laverton North team on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about compliance, workplace health and safety, environmental management, and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Quality & EHS Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the business meets its regulatory, safety, environmental, and management system obligations while supporting a safe, compliant, and risk-managed workplace.
As the Compliance Officer, you will support and maintain our integrated management systems, coordinate compliance and business continuity activities, manage audits, drive safety and risk initiatives, and contribute to environmental and ESG reporting across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Management Systems & Compliance:
Maintain existing and assist with the implementation of new site and regional ISO accreditations.
Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) activities.
Maintain and update legal and compliance risk registers.
Develop, coordinate, and deliver compliance-related training programs and materials.
Support administration of the ANZ Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with relevant standards and legislation.
Prepare compliance reports, management summaries, and audit documentation.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance evidence and records are accurate and readily available.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing:
Coordinate injury management processes and support Return-to-Work programs.
Engage with injured employees to facilitate successful rehabilitation outcomes.
Maintain training, competency, and licence registers.
Coordinate site safety audits and inspections.
Manage contractor compliance documentation, including SWMS, licences, and insurances.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
Support risk management processes, incident reporting, and corrective action tracking.
Assist in the development and implementation of psychosocial hazard management initiatives.
Environmental & ESG:
Monitor environmental compliance activities, including waste reporting and environmental data analysis.
Assist with environmental performance reporting and product lifecycle assessments.
Support the development and implementation of ESG reporting and sustainability initiatives across the business.
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Compliance Officer, Quality Administrator, Safety Administrator, or similar role.
Qualification in Quality, Safety, Environmental Management, Compliance, or a related discipline.
Auditing experience within quality, safety, environmental, or compliance systems.
Return-to-Work Coordinator training.
Experience developing and delivering training programs.
Knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 27001 (Information Security) highly regarded.

About You

Auditing experience within quality, safety, environmental, or compliance systems.

Knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 27001 (Information Security) highly regarded.
Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong report writing and presentation capabilities.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the business.
