Civil Construction Operator (Excavator Operator)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Civil Construction Operator to join our team.
The successful applicant will be involved in a range of civil construction activities, with a primary focus on excavator operation and general site works.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating excavators safely and efficiently.
- Trenching, bulk excavation, and detailed excavation works.
- Assisting with installation of civil infrastructure.
- Working alongside site crews to complete projects on schedule.
- Reading and following site plans and instructions.
- Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and productive worksite.
- Following all WHS, environmental, and quality requirements.

Skills, Licences & Experience
Essential
- Proven civil construction experience.
- Excavator operating experience.
- Construction Industry White Card
Preferred
- Truck licence.
- Pipelaying experience.
- Experience working on subdivision projects
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday.
- Typically 6:30am to 3:30pm / 5:00pm depending on site requirements.
Location
- Projects located across the Central Coast and Newcastle regions
