Visy Dior Hotel is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a Full Time basis.

About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your own kitchen section while supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your assigned section to a high standard
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Ensure all mise en place is completed before service
- Assist with menu preparation and development
- Monitor portion control and minimise food wastage
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP) and hygiene regulations
- Supervise and support Commis Chefs and Kitchen Hands
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your section
- Report equipment faults and maintenance issues as required
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis Chef ready to step into the role
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Solid understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
