Facilinet Building Maintenance Pty Ltd (FBM) is looking for a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Trainer to join our team in Potts Point.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take on greater responsibility, develop their leadership skills and play an important role in maintaining high housekeeping standards within a busy hotel environment.

About the Role
As a Housekeeping Trainer, you will help ensure our team members are properly trained, supported and equipped to deliver consistently high standards.
You will work closely with the hotel team and FBM management to support day-to-day operations while developing and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, onboard and mentor new housekeeping team members
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members
- Monitor team performance and assist with performance reviews
- Conduct daily team briefings and allocate room assignments
- Prepare and manage team rosters based on operational requirements
- Monitor daily room numbers, checklists and timesheets
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of guest amenities and housekeeping supplies
- Inspect hotel rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained
- Identify operational issues and provide practical solutions
- Work closely with Front Office, Maintenance and hotel management teams
- Support a positive, professional and productive team environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and passionate about developing people.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a trainer, supervisor or team leader role
- Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in training and mentoring others
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced hotel environment
- A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends where required
