This is an opportunity to work alongside operational and executive leaders, translating complex financial information into meaningful insights that drive performance, innovation and better healthcare outcomes.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Business Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor to operational leaders across Monash Health, providing strategic and operational financial support in one of Australia's largest and most respected health services. You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, business case development and performance reporting while partnering with leaders to achieve organisational priorities.
This is more than a traditional finance role. It's an opportunity to influence decision-making at scale, support service growth, and contribute to the delivery of world-class healthcare for more than 1.2 million people across south-east Melbourne.
What You'll Be Doing
Partnering with operational and executive stakeholders to provide trusted financial advice and support.
Leading annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Analysing financial and operational performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Developing robust business cases to support new services and capital investment initiatives.
Supporting financial accountability and informed decision-making across the organisation.
Building strong partnerships with clinicians, managers and executives to help deliver strategic and operational objectives.
About You
You're a relationship-focused finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and solving complex problems. You bring strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence outcomes through data-driven insights.
You'll have:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business.
Significant experience in a finance, business partnering or financial leadership role.
Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability.
Experience influencing stakeholders and building effective working relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work collaboratively while driving outcomes in a complex environment
