A gym in Auburn with thousands of members. No physiotherapist. We have the room — we need the clinician to build what goes in it.
FitFoundry is adding physiotherapy to an established personal training business inside Bodyfit Auburn. This is the founding clinical role, launching Saturday 17 October 2026.
The role
● Build the clinical model yourself — session structure, treatment approach, how care is delivered. Genuinely your call.
● Treat gym and training-related injury in a full 24/7 facility, with real equipment for exercise-based rehab.
● Write the programming — warm-ups, cool-downs and progressive return-to-load plans, not a printed exercise sheet.
● Work alongside the training side so clients keep progressing after discharge instead of disappearing.
● Warm start — an existing PT client base, many training around an active complaint, plus free injury screens on the gym floor.
You
● AHPRA-registered physiotherapist, roughly 2+ years experience.
● Strong strength and conditioning background. You understand load and progression, and you train yourself.
● Genuinely strong at programming — warm-ups, cool-downs and progressive return-to-training plans that people actually follow. Core to the role, not a nice-to-have.
● Outcome-focused — you back yourself to get people better and you measure it.
● Comfortable appearing in social media content for the brand. This is a genuine part of the role.
● Available Saturdays — essential. Saturday is when working clients can get in and will be your busiest day. Other days are your choice.
● Self-directed. You will be the senior clinician on site.
● Dry needling, cupping, body tempering and similar are favoured but not required — if you want to add them, we will pay for the training.
Extra paid work, if you want it
Your diary will not be full early on. Rather than sit in an empty room, there is paid work available between clients — filming social content, writing blog and education pieces, and running open days, injury screens and member workshops. Fixed fee per piece, on top of your session rate, entirely optional.
Who you would treat
● Anyone, not just gym members. No membership requirement, no gate fee, no surcharge for external clients.
● Medicare from launch — GP Chronic Condition Management Plan referrals with instant on-site claiming, once your provider number is registered to the practice address.
● All private health funds, instant rebates on site.
● WorkCover and NDIS on the roadmap once established. Experience in either is a real advantage.
The arrangement
● Subcontractor engagement, not employment. Own ABN, own AHPRA registration, own insurances.
● You make your own clinical decisions and you are free to work elsewhere.
● Paid per completed session, weekly. Rate discussed at interview.
● Minimum two days per week from Saturday 17 October 2026, scaling with demand. Saturday required, other days your choice.
● We provide the room, equipment, software, booking, billing and marketing — plus funded professional development for the right person.
