This is a senior operational management position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance of the hire division, maximising fleet utilisation, managing customer relationships and ensuring the efficient delivery of equipment hire services.
The successful applicant will play a key role in driving operational performance, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the daily operations of the equipment hire division.
- Coordinating fleet allocation, equipment scheduling, deliveries and collections.
- Monitoring equipment utilisation and availability to maximise operational efficiency and profitability.
- Managing customer enquiries, quotations, hire agreements and key client relationships.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities while maintaining existing customer accounts.
- Supervising operational, yard and administrative staff and providing leadership and direction to the team.
- Overseeing equipment maintenance scheduling and coordinating with workshop personnel to minimise downtime.
- Monitoring operational budgets, expenditure and business performance.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and industry standards.
- Preparing operational reports and implementing strategies to improve business performance, customer service and fleet utilisation.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
