About the role
As a Graduate Physiotherapist, you will deliver entry-level physiotherapy services across a range of clinical areas while participating in a structured learning and development program. Working under the guidance of experienced physiotherapists, you will progressively develop your clinical reasoning, decision-making, and professional practice skills while contributing to high-quality patient care. This role offers a unique opportunity to consolidate your university learning through hands-on clinical experience, structured supervision, and ongoing professional development across diverse healthcare settings.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver entry-level Physiotherapy clinical services as rostered within Metro North HHS in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, including the provision of after hour services, shift work and weekend services.
As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision of a more senior Physiotherapist.
Manage an appropriate caseload using high level time management and prioritisation skills, including clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and the maintenance of accurate patient records and documentation.
Provide direction, supervision and support to Allied Health Assistants.
Provide operational supervision to pre-entry physiotherapy students, work experience students, or those involved in observational clinical placements.
