In this role, you'll:
Reporting to the Director Enterprise Geospatial, The Senior Manager, Geospatial Delivery leads a team of geospatial specialists and developers responsible for the delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide geospatial platforms and solutions, working closely with users and divisional spatial teams.
The role is accountable for developing resilient resourcing and support models that ensure business-critical geospatial services and capabilities meet agreed service level standards. In addition, the Senior Manager develops, implements, manages, and monitors effective stakeholder engagement and communication strategies across complex IT and business environments to support the design and delivery of geospatial solutions.
A key focus of the role is establishing and maintaining effective communication and collaboration across IT functions and business units to support successful service delivery and organisational outcomes.
Key accountabilities include:
Lead Strategic Geospatial Partnerships and Service Delivery by managing agency relationships across the transport cluster and maximising the value of enterprise geospatial platform investments.
Drive Enterprise Geospatial Capability and Best Practice through leadership of communities of practice, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of contemporary approaches to geospatial and IT service delivery.
Manage Sustainable Operations and Financial Performance by overseeing end-to-end service delivery, operational and capital budgets, cost recovery models, and the ongoing sustainability of enterprise geospatial services.
Support Delivery of Strategic Programs and Technology Outcomes by ensuring geospatial solutions align with enterprise architecture and contribute to the successful delivery of internal and external capital programs.
Build High-Performing Teams and Stakeholder Relationships by fostering an accountable, resilient, and productive culture while influencing, negotiating, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
